Role playing partly involves what we envision happening to our characters after the films or shows they were featured in, correct? Well, we believe that should include their children! However, we do have a few rules regarding this, so anyone wishing to have an OC must read this post first.
Your character MUST be a child of canon characters, not a sibling or cousin, etc. It's about what happens to canon characters after the story, not revealing that Aurora or Chel had a long lost twin sister.
The parents of your OC MUST be present on the site, and can be played by either yourself or another RPer.
For example:
Rachel plays Jasmine, and Eric plays Aladdin. Rachel decides she would like to introduce a child into their lives. Eric, as Aladdin, must be okay with this idea. Either Rachel or Eric can create an account for the child and submit an application.
If Rachel has the account for the child, but dedicates all of her posts to the kid and ignores Jasmine, then not only does she run the risk of losing Jasmine to periodic cleanups, she will lose the child as well. Why would she lose the child? Because if one or both parents are dropped, then the OC will have to go as well. It seems a little unfair, but it's also unfair to expect someone who might come along later and pick up Jasmine for themselves to suddenly have to RP with a child they didn't plan on having.
Another option to have an OC is if Rachel and Eric are approached by Stacey, who wants to play the child. As long as they're comfortable with the idea, Stacey can apply. Same rules apply however. Both parents must exist on the site, and if one or both are dropped, then the OC must be dropped as well.
