Character Name Chel
Character's Origin The Road to El Dorado
What is your character's history? Are they a hero, or a villain, a sidekick or guardian? What has happened to them in their lives to make them the way they are today?
Chel was born and raised in El Dorado, and her parents were Chantico and Metzli. They were pretty high up on the rank, until Metzli became a widow as Chantico died during a hunting accident. Metzli had to take care of little Chel and herself alone.
Without a father figure in her life, it was easy for Chel to become the town... tramp. But after a while, the young (and older) men in the village started getting tired of her. She was alone, as well as her mother. She had started to get pretty tired of El Dorado, and hoped to get away from the village, and when her mother died of a sickness, she was more than ready to leave the town.
She soon got a crush on one of El Dorado's visitors, Tulio. She helped him and Miguel making the village believe they were Gods. She seduced Tulio, and they got together. After a while, the inhabitants got suspicious about Miguel and Tulio. Were they really Gods, or were they tricking them?
After a short... settlement with the village's sorcerer, all three of them decided to get away from El Dorado. Tulio and Miguel continued their trip without Chel, as Chel had decided to see the world without Miguel and Tulio.
Chel is definitely a heroine.
Describe your character's personality. What are their strengths and weaknesses, what are their passions? What qualities do they have that are good or bad?
Chel is bouncy, bubbly and scheming, and pretty much a fun character to play. She can be giggly as a child one moment, and can be a seductive woman the next. She has a certain charm, and knows how to tie a man around her little finger. She's basically a maneater. But she can be really nice as well, after being the one who had to take care of her mother during the sickness, and after all the meetings with her boyfriends' parents and families. She is a person who knows a lot about people, and knows what they like and dislike.
Her strength is her charms and her knowledge about people. She is a typical person who could either work as a nurse or a *ahem* lady of the night.
She likes being liked, and can do anything to make people like her. But if there is a person (mostly guys) who makes her feel threatened, she knows how to get rid of him/her. She's like a cat. Soft and cuddly the first second, spitting and shooting back the next.
Some people see her as a tramp. A slut. She has been with a lot of men, but the good quality she gets from that, is her knowledge about, well, men. But she isn't just a tramp, she just gets bored easily, and has a lot of, well, something too inappropriate to write about here...

Chel standed on the pier at Tortuga, thinking. She hadn't been with Jack Sparrow for much more than one night. And he had escaped to his lover, some teacher, as far as Chel knew.
She didn't miss him, though. But she did think of him. He was great. He had a certain charm, and the chemistry was undescribable. But, she wouldn't ruin what he had with this teacher guy. She would move on, which is pretty simple when your name is Chel...
"Oy! Why wouldn't ye come 'ere, lass! I know something we could do that can make ye stop sighing..."
Chel looked behind her. It was the guy who had just whistled at her, and he was with his mates, which were whistling along with him. Chel didn't like it when there were more than one who... wanted her. But she liked the feeling of being wanted, so she smiled at him.
"Oh, I'm sure you don't need a woman when you have your mates there with you..."
She winked at them and turned away again.
But the man wouldn't leave her alone. He came closer, so close that Chel could feel his breath against her skin. He placed a hand on her shoulder and turned her to face him.
"Ye shouldn't turn away from somethn' ye could miss." he said, placing his other hand on her other shoulder.
"See this lass 'ere?" he pointed at an other woman he had with him.
"She's with us, and she's up for a good time with us. If ye would come with us, we could have some real fun!" the man grinned and Chel got more and more repelled by him by the minute.
"Sir. I... I'm supposed to meet someone here. Right now. And if I'm not here when he arrives, he would get really upset. And you really don't wanna get him upset." She said, escaping his grip and walking further on the pier.
But he followed after her.
"Why can't you just take the hint and leave me alone?" she said, spitting like a cat now.
"'Cause it's dangerous here at night, especially for a woman alone. If ye catch me drift."
Chel did. She knew perfectly well what he meant. And she wasn't glad.
She was stupid for getting to Tortuga. A woman like Chel, a stranger, shouldn't have gotten there.
Why this character? What draws you to them, what makes you want to play them? Do you have anything in common with them?
Chel is what I would be like if I did as I wanted. She's the fantasy, my alter ego if you like. I used to play her at Disney Uncut before because she was free, the only character I could play that wasn't taken. To be frank. But I was really surprised on how easy it was for me to play her. The truth is, we aren't so different. I have gone on and off with her, but this time I think she's here to stay.
